DOG FRIENDLY BEACHES IN SANTA CRUZ, CA
For all you Santa Cruz dog owners out there you know there is nothing your dog loves more than going to to the beach. All I have to say is the word 'BEACH' and my dog starts pacing and whining, they LOVE THE BEACH! So where are the best dog friendly beaches in Santa Cruz?
My personal favorite dog friendly beach in Santa Cruz is It's Beach on the Westside. It's Beach is located on Westcliff Dr right by the Surf Museum.
Another great Santa Cruz dog friendly beach nearby is Mitchells Cove - at the end of Almar and West Cliff Dr. Dogs are allowed off leash here before 10 am and after 4pm. Dogs can run free, socialize and swim in the ocean.
Driving along the coast from 12th ave to 41st Ave there are many small dog friendly beaches. Depending on the tide you can find some really nice coves that are protected from the wind.
Other dog friendly beaches in Santa Cruz where dogs are allowed on leash include: Rio del Mar beach, Seabright beach, Twin Lakes State Beach.
