The Apple Lane Inn was built by George and Benjamin Porter, they ran a tannery there in the 1800's.
The Apple Lane Inn was first opened as a Bed and Breakfast in 1983 and until recently still functioned as a Bed and Breakfast. I grew up just up the hill from the Apple Lane Inn and we would sometimes go a little out of our way walking home from the school bus so that we could look at the Victorian home and it's beautiful gardens and surroundings.
The grounds have a a gazebo which would be a beautiful setting for weddings.
