The Westside of Santa Cruz is one of the strongest real estate markets in the county so it is not surprising that there are less foreclosures there.
These days you will find foreclosures in almost every area and neighborhood, even high-end, ocean view luxury foreclosures. Buying a foreclosure in Santa Cruz County may present a good opportunity for a buyer or real estate investor. One of the main things you must understand when buying a foreclosure is that it is being sold by a bank, not a person who has lived in the home.
