MOST EXPENSIVE HOMES IN SANTA CRUZ COUNTY - HOME SALES 2011

Where are the most expensive homes in Santa Cruz?  Many of the most expensive homes in Santa Cruz are found by the beach with expansive ocean views but we also have mountain estate properties that command high prices. 

Here are some of the most expensive home sales in Santa Cruz County recently:

In Bonny Doon a property on Back Ranch Road comprised of 96 acres sold for $3.5 million dollars.  It had ocean views, several buildings, a pond, redwood tree groves, pastures for horses.  This Santa Cruz mountain property was an ideal ranch retreat.

Many of the most expensive homes in Santa Cruz are sold on or near the beach with expansive ocean views like the home that sold this year on Bayview Drive in Aptos for $3.3 million dollars.  It featured a Mediterranean style home with a guest cottage right on the bluff above the beach and big ocean views.

Another Santa Cruz beach home, ocean front property on Geoffroy Dr near Sunny Cove beach sold for $2.9 million dollars. 

Opal Cliff Dr near Capitola Village is home to some of the most expensive homes in Santa Cruz.  This year a home sold on Opal Cliff Dr for $2.5 million dollars.  The 3 bedroom, 3 bath home had big ocean views and views of Monterey Bay.

While the average home price in Santa Cruz hovers around $500,000 we do have many multi-million dollar homes for sale. 

Most of the foreclosures have been on the lower end of the market, but there are some ocean view, luxury foreclosures in Santa Cruz.
